The Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea 126660-0001 was introduced at Baselworld 2018. This second generation of the Deepsea features a redesigned case and bracelet, and is powered by Rolex's caliber 3235 rather than the 3135 found in the first generation.
Pre-owned Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea employs awe-inspiring watchmaking technologies to allow it to withstand pressures up to 12,800 feet/3,900 meters below the ocean's surface. In addition to sporting Rolex's famous Triplock screw-down crown with three hermetically-sealed zones, it is also furnished with a Helium Escape Valve, Ring Lock System, a thicker 5mm sapphire crystal, and a flexible titanium case back. As a result, this watch is quite robust, measuring 44mm in diameter. At the same time, it maintains Rolex's signature elegance with a lustrous black ceramic bezel and matching black dial with white gold-trimmed hour markers and hands.
Most collectors will never need to take their Rolex thousands of feet into the ocean. Still, the sheer ingenuity and watchmaking prowess required to accomplish such a feat is enough to win over even the most discerning collectors.
